If the U.S. Department of Justice's filing of a civil antitrust complaint against any listed grocery retailer in its beef-affordability investigation is confirmed by any of the Source Agencies after Issuance and before Jan 1, 2027, then the market resolves to Yes.

This must be confirmed, verified, or established as factual by at least one Source Agency. News confirmation is defined as a published article, broadcast segment, or official news report by a Source Agency that A) explicitly states the U.S. Department of Justice filed the qualifying civil antitrust complaint, B) is based on journalistic investigation, sources, or evidence, and C) is presented as factual reporting rather than speculation, rumor, or unverified allegation. The listed retailers are Aldi Inc., Amazon.com, Inc., Ahold Delhaize USA, Inc., Albertsons Companies, Inc., Costco Wholesale Corporation, The Kroger Co., Publix Super Markets, Inc., and Walmart, Inc. A complaint naming at least one listed retailer qualifies. An investigative demand, subpoena, preservation request, investigation announcement, settlement without a qualifying complaint, or complaint naming only a meat processor or another party does NOT qualify.
