Will Trump say that Moon should become a state before the end of his term?
Mike Solana popularized the idea that Moon should be a state: https://www.piratewires.com/p/moon-should-be-a-state In his Pirate Wires podcast dated 2/7/25, Solana raised the possibility of Trump adding Moon to his list of things the US should be acquiring. Given the claims over Canada, Greenland, Panama, et al, this doesn't seem out of the question. Ultimately this is a meme market, so it really does need to be Trump exploring the idea of statehood for Moon, not just a territory. Ideally he says the exact phrase "Moon should be a state", but since he's not terminally online, it's more likely the phrase gets filtered through something and comes out differently, and that will be close enough. But I'm holding the line at statehood - saying we should own Moon, or control Moon is not good enough. Moon should be a state.
