This market will resolve to "Up" if the official closing level of the HANG SENG INDEX (^HSI) on Monday, August 31, 2026 is higher than its official closing level on the most recent prior Hong Kong Stock Exchange trading day. This market will resolve to "Down" if the official closing level of the HANG SENG INDEX (^HSI) on Monday, August 31, 2026 is lower than its official closing level on the most recent prior Hong Kong Stock Exchange trading day. E.g., ordinarily, a market on Monday would refer to the previous Friday for its most recent official closing level, unless that Friday were a Hong Kong Stock Exchange market holiday, in which case it would refer to Thursday, or the next most recent Hong Kong Stock Exchange trading day. If the two specified official closing levels are exactly equal, this market will resolve 50-50. If either relevant Hong Kong Stock Exchange trading day has a shortened trading session, the official closing level published for that session will still be used. If no official closing level is published for the HANG SENG INDEX on August 31, 2026 due to an exchange closure, index calculation failure, system issue, or other disruption, this market will resolve 50-50. If no official closing level is published for the most recent prior Hong Kong Stock Exchange trading day, the next most recent Hong Kong Stock Exchange trading day with a published official closing level will be used. The primary resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance: https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/%5EHSI/history/ If Yahoo Finance is unavailable, or if its reported official closing level conflicts with the official closing level published by Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited, the official closing level published by Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited will take precedence. The official closing levels will be compared exactly as published, with no additional rounding.
