Will Nashville airport be renamed for Dolly Parton?
If it is reported after Issuance and before Oct 1, 2026 by Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority that the MNAA Board has formally approved renaming Nashville International Airport for Dolly Parton, then the market resolves to Yes.
Only reporting from Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority qualifies for the purposes of this market. Reports that merely reference prior publications (from before Issuance) do not qualify, unless the new article itself explicitly reaffirms the truth of the topic as of the publication date. Republishing of content originally produced by other sources (e.g., wire services) only qualifies if the content is hosted on the outlet's official platform and the outlet is clearly identified as the publishing entity. A formal Board resolution approving the airport's new name is sufficient, even if it takes effect later. Changes to signage, airport codes or FAA records are not required. Naming-policy changes alone, proposals, and naming only a terminal or other part of the airport do NOT count.
