The Underlying is BLS series SMU37000003232540001, All Employees in Pharmaceutical and Medicine Manufacturing in North Carolina, measured in thousands and not seasonally adjusted. The 26.5 thousand threshold is fixed and will not change if BLS subsequently revises the December 2025 value. Use the first non-preliminary December 2026 value; subsequent revisions will not affect resolution.
