Will Anthropic make a Mythos-class model publicly available again before July?
On June 9, 2026 Anthropic released Claude Mythos 5 and Claude Fable 5, see the official announcement here https://www.anthropic.com/news/claude-fable-5-mythos-5. On Jun 12, 2026 they suspended access to both models for all users, following a US Government directive, see here: https://www.anthropic.com/news/fable-mythos-access This market will resolve to “Yes” if Anthropic makes any Mythos-class model available to the general public again by 11:59 PM ET Jun 30, 2026. Otherwise, it will resolve to “No”. The model must be accessible to the public in more than one country or region from their official list, which can be found here: https://www.anthropic.com/supported-countries. If the model is available only to US citizens, or only to handpicked professionals or enterprises, it will not count as a “public” release. Anthropic must clearly state the model is available to the “general public”. The model will classify as a “Mythos-class” model if it is officially described as “Mythos-class” or named “Claude Mythos” (eg Claude Mythos 5 and Claude Fable 5 would both count if re-released). Announcements alone will not qualify, the model must be directly accessible via either API, web client or desktop client to qualify. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Anthropic; however, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
