Will James Fishback be disqualified from Florida’s Republican gubernatorial primary?

If James Fishback is removed or otherwise ceases to be an eligible listed candidate in the 2026 Florida Republican gubernatorial primary, including where his name remains printed but votes cast for him will not be counted after Issuance and before Aug 18, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes.

Only reporting from the Florida Department of State and WCTV qualifies for the purposes of this market. Reports that merely reference prior publications (from before Issuance) do not qualify. Republishing of content originally produced by other sources (e.g., wire services) only qualifies if the content is hosted on the outlet's official platform and the outlet is clearly identified as the publishing entity.
